The F train.

Exploration is one of the best ways to get to know the world in a different angle. In one such quest of something that would help me to keep myself occupied, I’ve come across an article which looked very fascinating and informative at the same time. Let’s get to know about it in detail.

To start with, let’s take the title. The F train refers to the three important F words the world’s behind. Fun, Food and Fitness, three important activities which help a person to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The concept of the three F’s was started by a weightloss coach, Charles D’Angelo, for the benefit of his fitness center but later on the concept got on trend due to its positive effects at the very first attempt.

Coming to what the three activities do. The basic idea behind three F’s is to connect food and fitness using means of fun. Sounds interesting, doesn’t it? Well, the whole idea can be easily implemented by anyone irrespective of their age preferences.

We, the homosapiens are big big foodies. Be it a vegetable salad or a MC Donald’s meal, a no for food is something we can never say. So why not do a little wrong thing in a right way? And here’s where the fun factor comes. Instead of ordering a Subway, may be try it at home, provided you don’t burn down the kitchen. Lol! Now, this is in a way a fun filled activity and also helps you in maintaining your appetite because home made food itself is healthy.

Coming to the last F, the Fitness. What exactly can one do to be fit? Yoga, gyming, swimming? Partially, yes. But not totally. Now, how about looking at fitness in a different angle? How many of you have ever organised your room? Sounds like a small task but trust me, it itself is one heck of an exercise. Tiring but seems much better than running over a treadmill for hours together.

So, what I got to say is, one can maintain a neat, clean and healthy lifestyle not necessarily at the cost of giving up on one’s likes or dislikes. But, it can also be done in a way which involves fun and frolic. So, to conclude, enjoy life to the fullest. Stay happy and fit.
